Dental Williams and Kelly Smith began building Komet Chassis in 2006 in collaboration with Track Force Racing Supplies.  In 2009 they purchased the business and changed the name to S&W Motorsports and Racing Supplies.

Dental and Kelly have over thirty years racing experience which includes three track championships at Moberly 24 Raceway in the A and B Modified classes. They have 65 feature wins and countless heat race wins. They have built and raced cars in several classes including A Mod, B Mod, Sportsman and Late Models.  They have raced many different tracks including: Kirksville Mo (Late 70's and early 80's), Eldon IA, Bloomfield IA, Memphis MO, Donnelson IA, Winston MO, Moberly MO, Bluegrass IA, and Holts Summit MO.

In the Komet Chassis's first three years it has 22 feature wins, 22 feature top 5's, 2 feature 2nd places, 1 feature 3rd place and a multitude of heat race wins. of heat wins.

In 2007 Kelly Smith, in the #82 car, won 13 features, had two 2nd place finishes, and one 3rd place finish.  All in just 17 features!
